Is there any job you consider too small to take?

There is no job too small for us to consider! From installing a single window to a whole master suite remodel, we are open to considering all your home project needs. 

What is your service area?

We are based out of Boise but will consider taking projects in nearby surrounding areas.

Are you Licensed and insured?

Yes! We are fully licensed through the state of Idaho contractors board and carry one million dollars in liability coverage (Certificate of coverage provided for clients).

How long does it take to receive an estimate?

We will do our best to get back to you with an estimate as soon as possible! It generally takes 1-3 business days. 

Who will be coming out to give the estimate and completing my project?

The owner of our company, Luke VandeHoef.

How long is an estimate good for?

The estimate is good two weeks from the day you receive it.

Do you offer financing?

We do not currently offer financing.

What does the payment process look like?

Once you accept the bid and the contract is signed a 50% deposit is due, the remaining 50% is due at project completion. We accept most major credit cards, apple pay, bank transfers, and checks (a fee will apply for returned checks).

Do you use sub-contractors?

We do use sub-contractors for necessary projects, such as plumbing, electrical work, etc. 

Why is it when I get three different estimates for my project the prices are so different?

Many factors go into pricing a remodeling job. The most obvious is making sure all estimates have the same materials and scope of work. If you cannot understand all the information, go back and ask the contractor for clarification. If you cannot get satisfactory written results, eliminate that contractor from future bidding. Quality of work is hard to show in a written estimate and is also a factor in costs. When a contractor carries all the proper and required licenses and insurances, his prices will be higher than an un-insured non-licensed entity. Our goal at Haven Homes Craftsman Co. is to give you an accurate, fair estimate that aligns with the quality of work you will receive.
